When you go to Infosys Mysore through google maps, What you'll find is just amazing. Have a look at it. :-)

It is not just how great i feel about being an Infocian, but i'm very much thankful to Infy, especially Infosys Mysore for turning out this lazy dumb fellow into something which i never thought or seen in myself.
   
         Many a times i use to feel, is this what i wanted to do in my life? But after joining here, i  never
had a doubt about it. Because Infosys turns you into being a definition, that has a lot of value.

A part from regular classroom training, daily in the evening i use to wait when the trainer will be leaving the hall, so that i can go and have my hands into some sports. It could be swimming, badminton or volleyball, what ever you have here is wonderful. Just have the best of it.

The best moment of training is, at the end of the day, when the trainer says-"We are done for the day, now you can leave." (Golden words for few like me.)

Let me continue from where i stopped in my previous post.

7.  Sports(Indoor and outdoor.)

            What sport activities can an IT company could offer? Apart from you work and regular classroom training, step into these things too. The same you will be offered at every Infosys Campuses.
Infy provides its fresh faces with volleyball, badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis, chess, squash, snooker etc. .
Don't just be a study freak, try to be social too.

8. Swimming pool.

"Infosys" Mysore. A place to die to live for.

Not wasting you time, congratulation for passing through all the hurdles and finally making all you way to be a part of "Infosys"-, which we like to say "Infy". I hope you have got your call letter for training at Mysore waiting for
it.

Coming to me, i'm an Infoscion, turned to Systems Engineer from Systems Engineer-Trainee. Currently working with Infosys Hyderabad.

Days spent at Infosys Mysore during training would be the best days of your life till now or best days as an employee of Infosys. Besides the training Infy offers you the best of the world class facilities which you'll remember forever. Friends you make here will last for long and hardly you can make any enemy here. My life here was filled with fun, masti and best of the love i can get from one.


Let me list you few of the things i love to spend here.
Weekdays are most tiresome filled with hours of training work, assignments and .......................but  whereas weekends are quite opposite. These things you shouldn't be missing during your stay at Mysore.
 1. Floating restaurant.

A place to spend some quite time. This place wont be much crowded like other food courts present in the campus. If you want to spend some memorable time with a special person, this is the place. Only Buffet will be available here. Stay updated with the mails you get, sometimes there will be some chef's visiting here who prepare world class food in the buffet for that day. Give it a shot, i'm sure you'll love it.

2. Multiplex.

     

I don't have any words to say about this beautiful multiplex equipped with best sound system. I heard that recently the music system is renovated with huge amount to provide best of the music experience to the trainees. I'm sure you don't wanna miss this. The only problem you might fee is standing in huge line to get ticket, as the tickets will be available two hours prior the show. If you are in a gnag then standing in line gonna be more fun, trust me.

3. GLOBAL EDUCATION CENTER(GEC-2)
         This is the place where all the training happens. Sitting in the training hall will never gonna make you feel bored, as you'll be having some hard time doing assignments and fun time with friends at the same time.

The top floor of GEC-2 is library, with all the foundation materials and other reference books that can guide you in bringing out the best in you, As its time to set you carrier, i recommend everyone to spend some time here in learning(not just reading), as you can get best of the book for any topics related to IT/ Software.

P. S: Every Saturday and Sunday in between 6-8 pm, Music fountain will be played in front of GEC-2. It's one thing you don't wanna miss, and I don't have photographs of GEC-1. But guys GEC-1 is beautiful compared to GEC-2. ;-)


4. Food courts(FC).

You have many food courts here.
a. Magna(Weekdays you'll end up having your lunch and breakfast here) Closest to GEC-2
b. Arena(Optional FC when you find Magna crowded.) Closest to GEC-2 & closer to GEC-1
c. Gazebo or ILI food court (Again an optional for Magna but only VEG is served here) Closer to both GEC's.
d. Floating restaurant.(You will harldy find yourself eating here.)
e. Fiesta(Near to Gate-2)
f. Vista(Only Dominos is present in this FC). Hardly anyone goes here, as most of them order from the extension present in everyone's room.
g. Maitri(Nearest to girls buildings).Best Non-veg in the whole campus can be found here in the first floor.
h. Oasis(Nearest to guys buildings.)
i. Amoeba. It was closed during my stay. Dunno about present.
j. Multiplex food court(MFC). Try out dosa's here. They are the best. ;-)
             Cafe coffee day(CCD's) are present in Oasis, Arena & MFC. Mostly prices here are 60% less compared to outside of Infy.

I simply love the ambiance of every FC.

5. Birthday Celebrations.

    You can get a descent cake from MFC. There are some designated places for celebrations in the campus, namely in Oasis and Fiesta. Celebrations are most fun in this campus.

6. Bowling.

    Heres the place you can have the most fun time with your friends than anyother place inside the campus. Well designed bowling alley which is best in its class.
